Kitesurfing is an exhilarating water sport that combines the thrill of surfing with the power of a kite. In this blog post, we will explore the basics of kitesurfing, including equipment, safety precautions, and techniques during setup. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced kitesurfer, this guide will provide valuable insights to enhance your kitesurfing experience.

Setting up your bar
One of the most important steps!
The safest way to setup your bar is placing the pigtails upwind and the bar downwind. Place both feet between the steering line and center lines, and proceed to walk forward sepparating the lines until the end.

Pumping the kite
Dont let it fly away!
Position yourself with the wind hitting your back and open up the kite downind of you. Before connecting the pump hose and starting to pump, make sure to connect the safety leash, inflate to the recommended psi and park the kite with weight on top of it to prevent it from flying away. Then proceed to connect the lines.
Gear inspection
Make sure its tight!
Its really important that you make sure all of the binding and fin bolts are tight on your board. Just like inspecting the condition of harness straps, chicken loop and safety line. A visual inspection of your kite's fabric is also recommended, make sure it has no holes before you go out.
